About
Golden Rule Real Estate School (GRRS) offers a variety of flexible schedules online. Students have up to six months to complete their course and up to 12 months to activate their license. We offer programs for real estate salespersons, brokers, and continuing education.
Below are the prerequisites to obtaining a salesperson's license:
- High School Education or Equivalent
- At least age 18 (or turning 18 at the time of the State Exam)
- 75-hour pre-licensure course
- Evidence of Good Moral Character
- Legal Resident of the U.S (citizenship not required)
- Pass State Examination
- A salesperson candidate must also be sponsored by an NJ Broker
- Additional requirements may be required for a Broker's Licensure

Our real estate courses are 100% online and self-paced, giving you the flexibility to study whenever it fits your schedule. You’ll have up to six months to complete the course, so you can learn at a pace that works best for you.

SALESPERSON
LICENSURE
Looking for the independence of running your own business as a Real Estate Agent? While an agent is an independent contractor, he/she works under the direct supervision of a broker.
The cost is $250 & UP.
BROKER
LICENSURE
Brokers can legally open up a brokerage and employ other real estate agents. Within the brokerage, the broker takes on additional financial and management responsibilities required to run a successful real estate business.
The cost is $995.
CONTINUING
EDUCATION
Continuing Education is required to maintain your license and keep it active. Agents are required to have a total of 12 CE credits per odd year. Cost varies by subject. Call for details.
ONE FEE,
TWO LICENSES
The New Jersey Licensure Course opens doors for you to get the NY Education Waiver; meaning you can waive the 75hr. pre-licensure course required in the State of New York and obtain your New York license.
